Hi there -- 8th year looking to transition away from litigation. Coming from employment law background on plaintiff-side not BigLaw so don't have a lot of insight on transitioning to in house positions. I have an interview coming up at a big tech company for a workplace investigations role. I figured given my background in employment litigation, the role might be a good fit. Been searching around TLS (and elsewhere on the internet) trying to get more clarity on what the role might entail, but all I'm seeing are vague comments that in house workplace investigation roles might not be very desirable. Wondering if anyone has any experience to share -- what's the day to day like? what's work life balance like? would you recommend?
