Declining an Interview right after accepting

Title says it all. Its in an prestigious district, think AUSA (SDNY, EDNY, EDVA, etc). I got a call saying they wanted to interview me, I said sure. But I couldn't remember the division. After I looked at the posting again, its not really as exciting as I hoped. Have other offers more excited about. How do I decline right after accepting? I mean they caught me at the gym and I wasn't sure what I had applied to originally. Feel like a fool, but a friend of mine said, "dont interview unless you are 100% sure you want to be a federal prosecutor."
What should I say? How should I word this?

Short and sweet, be direct + note that you’re trying to be considerate of interviewers’ time. Not sure what else there is to it unless you’re actually seeking some sort of advice on the job hunt more generally

Yeah, you can just say that you’ve received another offer that better fits your current career goals, so you’re withdrawing your application, thank you for the consideration and good luck in the hiring process.
(I think your friend is also wrong and that you could interview and then just not take the job if offered, but obviously if you know you don’t want the gig then it’s pointless to do so.)
