Just got offered a job doing this sort of work exclusively for architects/engineers in construction cases. Currently doing PI/trucking/product liability for an ID firm. I have very little experience in construction law and this seems like a niche area, so looking for thoughts and experiences from anyone with knowledge in this area. Pay is roughly the same at both firms. Associate lateraling at 3-4 year level.

How are the exit options? Guy who hired me also said he is going to retire in a few years and is looking to train someone and eventually give them his book. Not sure how much I should believe this. Firm has approx 200-300 attys
