Curious about the amount of work coming into bank finance groups lately—how does it compare to the past couple of years, and how many hours are you on pace for?

They're all too busy to respond.

Question is, what are they busy WITH? Billing their butts off, or updating resumes?

Securitization still dying at my firm but everyone else is dead. Company line is definitely still that work will pick up. Attitudes overall very positive still.

Senior associate here. Private credit is still very active and consistent with previous years, but the Term Loan B market is pretty dead (case in point, BofA is out in the market hawking the Citrix B-paper at 92 OID).

I’m on track for ~2300.

I’m in a lender side private credit practice and though it’s been bumpy, our group has continued to be quite busy with regular-way PE backed M&A regurgitated from the syndicated market. Special situations, restructurings, and other distressed work is also picking up.
