New book out trashing the evil big law, with a focus on Jones Day: "Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump, and the Corruption of Justice"

Should be an interesting read for this group.

I was really impressed by the research and readability of his other books (Dark Towers and Spider Network). I wonder how my thoughts on him will stand up now that he's talking about something I'm more familiar with!

The description reads like just another flavor of Trump hit piece. Which is fine, but I suspect this book is focused on partners rather than the machinery itself.

Is this book just about Jones Day or biglaw firms in general. Looking at the cover and description it seems highly Jones-day specific. Would be much more interested in how like multiple biglaw firms behave.

Latest episode of "Fresh Air" has a bit on this, if you want a short (NPR-tinted) summary.
