URGENT - GOT OFFER. Help me with forms!!!

Got offer. Firm sent me bunch of paperwork.
Is this FCRA consent common/necesssary? I never had to fill this out back in the days .... can I refuse to sign?
Also they are asking 10 years of address. What is the use of this? Can they really verify this?

background check, fill it out.
yes they can verify it, the background checking agency will look for tax returns and such to see if you lived there. it’s not that deep tbh

They use the addresses so they can check the court records of the state/federal districts where you lived to see if you have a record. If you never got into any trouble that you failed to disclose it's really a nonissue.

Can they see the actual tax returns I filed and see what address I used thereon???

You'll need to pull all that work and housing history for bar application, so might as well get it together now.
And yes, background check is normal.

Not sure about addresses from tax returns, but usually every address that you have had attached to a bank account will be recorded.
