I’m a rising 0L at an LA school. Which firms provide the best exit opportunities for corporate media and entertainment in the LA area?

Here are some notable ones listed in Chambers, and I’m looking for more insight.

Please rank, if possible, and also provide any culture info if you have.

I would not worry about this whatsoever until you get through 1L. If you're at UCLA/USC, you need a laser focus on getting biglaw in the first place, and then you can figure out how to exit to a media company. Might involve 2 or 3 different biglaw firms.

Insofar as you want to network here and there, Chambers is as good a weathervane as you'll find.

Geez, it’s perfectly fine to think about firms if it helps you stay motivated through 1L. Half the battle of 1L is figuring out the right direction to take your career. That being said, Chambers is a good place to start, but also use firm websites and LinkedIn to search for people in the entertainment practice area. Note if one firm has many more entertainment lawyers than another, especially with the type of clients you like. You likely know enough as a 0L to distinguish between good clients and less preferred clients.

LA biglaw partner. I would add GDC and Loeb & Loeb to this list.
