Very grade selective, although I do know someone with bad grades (read: below median) who hired on there. They had an unusual background, though, and probably some connections.

I know multiple people with a pre-OCI Latham LA offer at my lower T13. Same anon. This is going to depend on the T14 - your career services should have good data, better than what anyone here can tell you. Word on the street (and by that I mean what I've read on these boards for years) is that GDC still cares to some degree. Same anon that used to work at LW. Yeah - they look at grades even for laterals. Whether it's as important as it was during OCI - I don't know. Not sure that this is right. At my T14 (if you know it based on the following, can you not name it please lol), Latham NY takes a 3.44 25% percentile where 3.44 is almost definitely not top 1/3. Generally, there is a grade cutoff that changes depending on the school, but it is generally around Top 1/3 for most T14s. If you're above that cutoff, it's not grade selective (ie they don't care about being Top 10% vs. Top 20%, at that point it's just about fit). If you're below that grade cutoff, it is very difficult to get in (you have to have extremely compelling reasons).
