Corporate Lateral Market
How hard is it to lateral from a nonECVC background (think PE funds/M&A) to ECVC as a 2nd/3rd year in CA?

Anon because senior at one of the Silicon Valley native firms. Not an uncommon background for junior laterals here. Skillset should transfer fairly easily at that stage. If you're motivated to learn, you'll get up to speed quickly with ECVC. A few reps will help.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 4:00 pmHow hard is it to lateral from a nonECVC background (think PE funds/M&A) to ECVC as a 2nd/3rd year in CA?

Re: Corporate Lateral Market
I get headhunter emails pretty regularly asking about retools from M&A, so it must not be that hard.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 4:00 pmHow hard is it to lateral from a nonECVC background (think PE funds/M&A) to ECVC as a 2nd/3rd year in CA?
