Anyone heard from Paul, Weiss yet? I heard GD isn't doing pre-OCI.
I heard Paul Weiss DC sent out a bunch of screener invitations yesterday.

Are firms doing in-person callbacks or remote?

Does Covington typically move during pre-oci? Not able to find a place to apply on their site.
Not sure if they're moving at all, but if you look at their SA brochure (linked on their website), the last page says "how to apply" and directs you to email your materials to the appropriate recruiting contact

My callbacks have been in person! But they always give a virtual option.

Movement from two V20s through my school's new pre-OCI program. Top ~30%(ish), several years work experience.

yeah i’d just do pre-oci and not report anything

OCS offices that do that are scum. they’re just trying to preserve OCI because that’s like half their job

When I used to be heavily involved in recruiting, Harvard and NYU were the worst offenders at trying to prevent/discourage their students from interviewing pre-OCI.

Has anybody been able to apply to Gibson Dunn? I only see diversity SAs on the website (I am not diverse).

Data point: top 10%, T14 (barely), callbacks at V10s
Yeah, I applied last week and got invited to do a callback with no screener. (Estimated class rank is top 5-10% at HYS)

Yes, got invited to do a screener after applying via my school’s site. Not sure about applying directly.

Just noticed Cravath asks for undergrad transcripts. My ug GPA is... fine? Not good (especially not good for my law school, where I'm about 0.2 below out 25th), but emphatically fine especially given my known-for-deflation ug. Does having a mediocre uGPA screw me with CSM pre-OCI? Should I wait for OCI for them?

Are White&Case, Clifford Chance, Dechert, Linklaters, and Freshfields in NY doing pre-EIP? Any screener/CB going on?

Crap. Are they actually selective on ug grades, or is it more of a formality? I'm well within their range based on my 1L grades but I'll be annoyed if my poor performance freshman year once again murked me for something

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
