They won't think you're weird. Salespeople I've worked with often brush their teeth after meals. Some firms have gender neutral private bathrooms. May want to use that one if available. Back when I was in NY V20 biglaw some years ago, I always saw a few associates and partners brushing their teeth just like I did. Nobody will think you are weird. The ones that don't do it are lazy tbh. I don't do it that often anymore, but I know this is not the right away to take care of my teeth.
Not sure which dental association you are referring to. Most dentists recommend brushing teeth after meals. Dentists themselves brush their teeth after meals. I brush my teeth after waking up in the morning, before having sex, and before going to bed. I'm in-house counsel and if I ever heard of an associate doing this, I would call up the relationship partner and demand you be removed from any of our matters. I think brushing your teeth, even in the privacy of a unisex bathroom, could have deleterious and unknowable effects as to future character and fitness investigations. Be extremely careful.
