Plan to move in the future. Should I take Florida bar?

The caption pretty much sums it up but I'm currently working in big law in New York. I plan to move to Florida in the future to be with my family and settle down. I recently passed the UBE bar exam in July 2021. My MBE score is valid until August 2023, so I would only have to take Part A of the Florida bar exam.

Should I bother taking the Florida bar exam now while my MBE score is valid? Or just wait to take the exam when I'm ready to move, although I'll have to take both parts? I would have to study for the July exam while working full-time and want to make sure it's worth it/ even doable.

The way Florida grades, if you do very well on the MBE, you can essentially write gibberish on the essays and still pass. I’d take both parts if you’ll crush the MBE, then you can skip studying state law

Firms aren't likely to hire you in Florida unless you have the Florida bar. So I'd consider that.

What anon said above is exactly what I did. I crushed the MBE with Adaptibar and spent maybe a week poking through a Barbri book and doing some practice questions for FL. I think I passed the FL section by like a point, but I was no where close to failing since I did crush the MBE. I probably could have failed FL by a decent amount and still passed the exam.
