WFH/In-office Policy Database

Update: Using this thread as a way to crowdsource the WFH/in-office policies of the amlaw 100, so we can put together a spreadsheet to compare. Please post your WFH/in-office policies here!

Has anyone put together a spreadsheet or something similar that aggregates the WFH/in-office policies of the Amlaw firms? I'm thinking something similar to the spreadsheet someone put together for salaries/bonuses. TIA!

The question is past-tense, dude. I.e., I asked if someone has already put one together. lol, relax.

We can definitely crowd source one! I'm happy to create one and people can add their firms/specific offices onto it.

Good idea! Before I went in-house, I was at PW and I believe the policy was mandatory 3 days per week in office. Can any PW associates confirm?

PW associate here, and yes, it's 3 days a week, and supposedly mandatory. However, I know a lot of people who don't go in at all, and and a lot of people (including myself, a second-year, so not just senior folks) shoot for 1-2 days per week, and nobody appears to notice or care.

Exact same story here at Freshfields.

I think the spreadsheet should have a column for what the official policy is as well as one for what it is in practice. Cognizant, of course, there is no guarantee the de facto practice will hold, but think it is helpful nonetheless, if the information is available.

Kramer Levin's policy is 3 days in-office, two days WFH. Loosely followed/enforced.

Wow, are you at Cooley? If so, let me know if you'd like to chat separately. I'm looking to make a move to a remote role.

Memo doesn't say the word "forever" but basically, yeah. I'll qualify and say it's "indefinite" and not "perpetual," because who knows, but it certainly appears that their intention is for this to be permanent.

They're keeping the physical offices open for those who choose to come in. I'm pretty sure they are giving assigned desks to those who will be coming in regularly and everyone else will be hot-desking it.
