Entertainment industry salary datapoint question

Hi all -- I was lucky enough to receive an offer from a public media/ent. company as counsel. I'm curious if anyone can provide any salary datapoints and was wondering how the salary offer I received stacks up?

VVHCOL market, midlevel associate
160k base
unsure about equity/401k matching

I understand entertainment tends to have lower salary ranges given the industry, but was curious if anyone can provide more color and the best way to approach salary negotiations.

Ignoring comparisons to biglaw, it doesn't seem like a total lowball to me. My negotiations with an independent studio in LA started at $150k. I had several years of legal experience before law school, but was only a junior associate when interviewing.

Thanks, that’s helpful! Would you mind sharing a ballpark for total comp?

As another datapoint, an entertainment/marketing company in LA that I interviewed with was offering $150k base plus ~20% bonus.
