In-House Manager Compensation

Does anyone have any thoughts / experience with whether there's some sort of premium in compensation for managing other attorneys? I'm a 7th year and have always been in private practice, but I'm considering an offer to go in-house at a public company where I would be leading a small team (2 other attorneys, confirmed to be hiring more in the near future) providing legal support for a specific line of business. Frankly, I have no idea what to expect generally for this compensation package (a problem in and of itself), but I'm wondering whether folks have experience with compensation differences attributable solely to managing a team versus being a member of it. Obviously, this probably varies between industries and perhaps teams within a company, but any data points are much appreciated.
