What's the question? If you're a lawyer or soon-to-be lawyer hoping to go in-house at a bank, you should start in biglaw (M&A, capital markets, finance).

GS is way harder to get in than biglaw. And IB makes more money. So go to GS.

This. Assuming that you have the option of going to a solid firm.
