Our law school policy is to withdrawal all applications once an offer is accepted. However, I believed I would be able to do this internship with another since it’s only 10-15 hours. But the judicial code of ethics forbids pro bono work while also employed/interning so I’d have to choose one or the other. I go to a regional school where it’s important to establish roots if you want to succeed during OCI.
Does anyone have guidance on what to do here? Reasonably, what are the consequences of reneging?
