3L Applying Elsewhere

Currently a 3L that has accepted a return offer from east coast biglaw firm that I did 2L summer with. Looking to switch to west coast market and applying to 2022 hire positions on firm portals. Should I mention in my resume or cover letter that I have accepted an offer to return to 2L firm and explain why I'd want to switch, or should that not be acknowledged at all? Thanks in advance.
