The salary wars are back, which means that I'm going to waste endless hours sorting through useless debates on TLS for a few nuggets of real match news. But what if there was a different way? That's right, this is the definitive MATCH NEWS ONLY NYC to $215k thread.

Ground rules:

In June 2021, DPW raised the very next day after Milbank. Wonder if we will hear from them tomorrow.

I know I'm contributing to the problem, but I'm the first one to do so and swear I will only do once so think it is justified.

WTF GUYS, we clearly have a separate thread for bullshit (currently discussing who may or may not be "whiny"). I'd really love to keep this as intended to be a pure to the chase updates thread.

Steptoe just matched, per an internal email from our chair.

Goodwin didn't match, but they offered us a vacation paid for by the firm...... if we meet hour requirements + preference to highest billers.

I feel like my flight just got canceled and I got a travel voucher.

They confirmed no match? Pretty significant, we should track that.

Goodwin didn’t confirm no match. They previewed this new “vacation on us” initiative earlier this week before salary increases started. Hopefully not a replacement for matching.
