Depends. Traditionally the pay was the same (except take-home might differ in that first years usually have various deductions for health insurance, 401(k), etc. which summers often would not, and obviously taxes would be different at the end of the year). In the most recent round of raises, though, some firms created a distinction between stubs and first years, and I'm not sure it's clear yet what summers at those firms will be paid. I'm the anon that initially gave the $3894 number. The above poster is correct; I divided by 52 because I figured it was more accurate than dividing by 12 then dividing by 4.
