Just curious if anyone has any insight or knowledge about whether Gibson does/allow/frequently practices/ cross office staffing?

GDC lit mid level. It happens frequently, on both small and large matters. You’ll see it more often if you’re in a satellite office, but even in the major offices (NY, DC, LA), you will experience it. It’s something the firm likes to promote as well. Some practices are more conducive to it than others, though.

Yes. Co-defendant was represented by Gibson -- a partner from NY and an associate from OC.

Inhouse attorney here who has previously used GDC as lit counsel. Saw associates and partners staffed across offices, both in the US and internationally.

Real question - why does it even matter? Cross staffing sucks. You get to grind and work for partners in far off places who will never know you or care about you, or back you up when you need it.
