Special Bonuses
This is geared towards current big law attorneys. Do you think special bonuses are here to stay? Do you think in the coming years the top big law firms will give more bonuses than just a year end bonus?

I think they are "here to stay" in the sense that I think they are contingent on overall deal volume and I think overall deal volume will remain high for the foreseeable future.
But trying to predict macroeconomic trends is a fool's errand and the "foreseeable future" doesn't carry too far.

Logically, they should stay to maintain retention throughout the year, rather than one off retention at the end of the year.
