Electric Vehicle Charging

Post by Black_Swan » Thu Nov 18, 2021 8:00 am

Just curious if any of the firms offer free electric vehicle charging or any rebates for EV purchases.

Goodwin SV doesn't have free charging but the rates in the building are heavily subsidized so you can charge the entire battery for ~$5-7.

My V50 in LA has free charging. An added perk is that partners get valet no matter what they drive, but associates only get it if they have an electric car.

Off topic but are you guys getting free parking or you have to pay monthly etc?

My building doesn't even have parking, I've been parking with apps etc.

My building in D.C. has parking; it's not free but I can pay for it pre-tax.

Bump - also curious this question. More importantly, I would like to know if any firms offer stickers and a branded mask (doubled of course) that I can wear around the office that says "Owner of Electric Vehicle", as well as a bumper sticker that says "Your Child is an Honor Student Who has a 16 Ton Carbon Footprint Who You Brought Into the World Solely to Feed Your Own Vanity and Narcissism"?

This firm (in Century City) has free parking, or uber credit the value of monthly parking for folks with no car (typically summers).

Thanks for the answer. This is the location I was specifically interested in. Do you care to share what the uber credit value is?

At SoCA gas prices, an EV is a cheaper long term choice. Of course, it takes some "thinking" and numbers crunching to see it that way.

Wilson sonsini has a row (5-10 iirc) of free outlets if you bring your own cable. They are 120v so it's pretty slow. They are also taken up really quickly.

Edit: I should clarify that this is Palo alto.
