What do you think is currently the busiest group?

I'd say capital markets generally atm but curious to hear if others disagree or think there are groups that are busier.
For CM folks, do you think it's slowed down since earlier in the year, ramped up or about the same?

Estate planning. Had to pull a 8PMer the other night at work. Was about to quit right then and there.

M&A/PE is absolutely swamped right now.

I'm in an EBEC group that supports M&A/PE and I have never worked this much in my entire life. Basically keeping traditional corporate hours, when usually I would log off at 8 PM and not work on weekends. I don't know how the M&A/PE groups are living.

At a V5 and the top two groups by hours annualized this year are CM and ECB.

RX at one of the two debtor shops. Getting absolutely swamped.

Funds is really bad right now. I don’t think as bad as CM or other deal-based work with tight deadlines, but we are really understaffed and having been getting dumped on for the entire pandemic. Multiple people at my firm have taken leave for mental health reasons.
