For litigation. Public interest goals down the line, ideally impact lit but also have an interest in government. Would love any and all thoughts or anecdotes or insights anyone might have about Wilmer Boston!

WH Boston senior here. For litigation there's really no peer firm in Boston. In part because of that, I think you'll find a lot of associates with similar long term goals in the lit group, so you're definitely in good company. The firm also takes (unlimited) pro bono seriously, which is a huge plus.

The culture here was a big draw for me, but that's hard to describe in a TLS post. I may be proven wrong, but you're probably not going to find a lot of WH associates scouring this forum in search of preftige affirmation and/or questionable advice. I personally think is reflects positively on our associates--just take any TLS thread that devolves into a walking K&E Kool-Aid drinking contest as proof of my point.

I would definitely recommend reaching out to Karen or the hiring partners for more facetime with associates as you make your decision. Pro tip: never leave out the "Hale" when talking about WilmerHale Boston.
