I have offers from the M&A groups in Goodwin, Fenwick and Cooley in NY with interest doing tech/life science work. Any recommendations/ thoughts?

Fenwick's free-market system means you can take up as much or as little M&A as you'd like. The NY office has some amazing deals flowing through for clients present on your iPhone home-screen, as well as a fast-growing practice for life sciences clients. Some people don't vibe with free-market, and if you prefer central staffing, Fenwick might be a difficult place to acclimate to.

Cooley/Fenwick should be the two firms in consideration - of these, Cooley probably has a slight edge with a stronger national profile but would just go with the people you liked the best. Imagine the substantive M&A work will be similar.
