Hey everyone!
Josh from Biglaw Investor here. For years I’ve maintained the authoritative list on Biglaw associate salaries but we’ve decided to expand our research into other legal jobs. The first one we tackled is starting Assistant District Attorney Salaries and this one was a tough nut to crack because we had to go above and beyond and issue FOIA requests to get access to a number of these.
So, those interested in prosecution – you can now compare the starting salaries for district attorney offices in the 50 largest cities in the US, plus we expanded it to cover one city in every state (still waiting to hear back from Hawaii and Mississippi). Some of the differences (e.g., San Jose $127k v. Los Angeles $85k) might surprise you. AMA about ADA salaries.
