K&E Chicago Timeline

Anyone have an idea as to how long Kirkland Chicago takes to render a decision on a cb?

Also, I know they’re around 40% offer rate firm-wide, but any chance it’s higher/lower in Chicago among the midwest T14s?

thanks for helping out the anxiety

Offer 8 days after callback, after 5pm.

Recruiting told me I should reach out if I hadn't heard within a week, for what that's worth.

Thanks! Was this during pre-oci?

Did they call or email with the offer?

Just curious, when did you receive the call? If I had a CB last Friday and do not hear back today, should I assume that is a ding?

        Afternoon. I wouldn’t assume it’s a ding until like a week out

        My timeline was:

        screener
        4 days
        callback scheduled
        callback
        less than 48 hours
        offer

It varies widely. They send emails to associates who did the callback letting them know that person x has received an offer, so we can tell how long it took. Usually it takes 2-3 days, sometimes recruiting sends an email asking me to fill in my feedback so they can give a candidate an offer if I got busy and forgot--I can only assume I'm not the only associate who has done that so offers could be waiting on bureaucratic stuff like that. On the other hand, if you happen to interview with a recruiting partner who likes you, you can get an offer in two hours (which I've seen). Or they may be on the fence but other candidates declined so you could get an offer two weeks later--seen that before to. My guess is that a rule of thumb would be if you don't hear back in a week it's probably a ding but until they actually reject you there's still a chance.

Based on my experience, It can take over 8 years to get a decision. Based on the above poster, seems like I still have a chance.
