How does being a first-year associate at a plaintiff-side boutique compare to being a first-year at a biglaw?

For example, what does a first-year salary at Robbins Geller look like, and how does the intensity of the work compare to that of a biglaw like Kirkland?

Have only been one of those (biglaw first year at a KE peer firm in the V10), but I would assume the experience for a first year will be pretty similar from a life perspective. You will be working a job for which law school barely (if at all) prepared you, on timelines and under circumstances totally out of your control or input. No idea on early career plaintiff side pay, but would assume it will be lower to start, with possibly unlimited upside if you stick around and get a few big judgments for clients.

More substantive experience (on balance), but way less pay at the plaintiff firm.
