Figured I'd create a thread for folks to talk about Fall EIP!

Had a good 1L grades-wise (6H, 2DS, 2P). I'd really like DC lit (esp white-collar - AUSA ambitions long-term) but also open to NYC as an alternative market. Is it far too risky for my first 5 or 6 bids to all be DC (W+C, WilmerHale, GDC, Covington, Akin Gump/Hogan/something like that?) Also, what's the latest intel on the NYC firms that are de facto auto-offers for people with good grades? I think I read about S+C fitting in that category somewhere.

S&C is the only one I'm aware of. 6Hs I think is TCR for an auto-offer there (unless your personality is just materially terrible and it comes off in the interview). 6H, 2DS, 2P means you're probably in the top 10% for 1L (1L grades usually lower than 2/3L), congrats.

Thrice daily but it's a little vague - just reports if any callbacks have gone out, not how many or which interviewers

Not the prior anon but this is just rude. Past HLS EIP threads have had significantly more activity than this one, and other schools are much more active than this one. Nothing wrong with asking if there is a chat going on elsewhere.

Also other schools’ tracking spreadsheets mention not just CB but also offer dates, and besides interview initials can be helpful especially for firms that release in waves.
