Lateral Hiring Timeline

Is it too early to follow up about a lateral hire position I am very interested in? 2nd interview was on Tuesday and I thought it went very well. Still have not heard anything yet and the wait game is getting to me. Is Monday a day when offers are given?

Yes it's too early. Unless you have an outstanding offer that's expiring, you should chill until at least two weeks.

If you do have an expiring offer, tell them that and tap your watch because they're wasting your time and money.
