Impact of Biglaw Salary Raise on In-House Salaries?

This is all speculation of course, but does anyone think the raise in biglaw salaries will have an impact on in-house salaries as well?
Anyone recall what happened (if anything) to in-house salaries when they moved salaries to 180? Or 190? Did they remain largely stagnant?

I feel like in house salaries already vary so much, and are so contingent on industry and specific company, that it’s impossible to generalize. People already take pay cuts to go in house, and it’s hard to really talk about “market” for in house, so I wouldn’t expect to be able to see a direct impact. But happy to be proven wrong with a more concrete answer.

Only relevant datapoint that I've heard is from a colleague going in house. She'd already negotiated salary, but then the retention bonuses hit. She asked for a delayed start or for them to match the bonus and they matched it. Don't know about the recent raise in base pay, though.

here's an old article on this topic:

doubtful that it has any
immediate impact, maybe several years down the line.
