When are salaries going to be announced in biglaw?

Post by rgn122000 » Thu Jun 10, 2021 9:42 am

I feel like this is usually around the time salaries are announced and I'm curious to see if the rising lateral market leads to further increases or if the bonuses are it. Anybody have any idea when their firms are announcing?

No one that posts on this website can answer this.

Also, what do you mean by announced? The lockstep chart is out already. So absent a raise in the amounts on the chart (which I believe has happened about 3 times in the last 16+ years), salaries are already announced.

Funny timing. Milbank just announced salary increases of $10k/year from years 1-3, and $15k/year from years 4-8, so class of 2020 is at $200k and class of 2013 is at $355k.

The timing of this post is iconic. Posted a mere 18 minutes before Milkbank moved to 200k.

My trajectory went the opposite direction, but assuming my firm matches I’m still hyped.
