Boutique NYC firms
Are there any particular small / medium sized law firms in NYC that M&A / PE V10-15 corporate associates commonly lateral to in NYC if they don't start their own firms? Looking to better understand the exit opps to remain in the law firm space instead of going in-house for corporate associates at elite firms...

OP here. One interesting example I came across was Ellenoff Grossman & Schole. More relevant for capital markets associates but nonetheless helps understand where I'm getting at: https://news.bloomberglaw.com/mergers-a ... ch&index=3.

Does anyone have any insight into Ellenoff Grossman? Is it better than BigLaw in terms of hours, culture etc.?
