Firm WFH Policies Coming Out

Just got confirmation that White and Case announced their WFH policy. Basically they said no one will be required to come in to the office for the rest of the year and that after the summer they will re-evaluate a permanent WFH strategy.

Any others? Please post if you have word or news regarding firm WFH policy updates. Let's consolidate all in this thread.

Several Jones Day offices are requiring lawyers to return to daily in-person in June. (anon because my office is one of those requiring in-person). Many people my year are considering a lateral move over this.

I wonder how this is going to shake out because the Houston office was pretty lax before Covid. Would be weird for it to get more stringent after a year of WFH..

This is ridiculous.

Who in the fuck thinks it's a good idea to email associates on May 17 and strongly encourage them to return to the office by May 24?

Absolute bullshit by Jones Day.

Firms should have at least one month's notice.

And are they an AM law top 10 firm? Not sure where else ATL is getting the "top 10 biglaw firm" title, unless they mean "top 10" at blackbox comp, or getting sued by its associates, or being the worst at return to the office.

Dorsey Whitney requiring one day a week starting June 1 and expect it to increase from there. Sourced from brother in law who works in the Utah office.
