Biglaw M&A to In-House Corporate Counsel: Strategy

I'm a Biglaw M&A associate and my goal is to eventually become a corporate counsel at a F100 company by my sixth year. Almost every single in-house listing that I've come across requires or prefers experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, which M&A associates don't do. I'm currently considering a lateral move and unsure what would position me best for in-house (FAANG would be awesome): (i) moving to a prestigious highly-ranked firm and doing M&A there for a few years for big exit opps or (ii) moving to a lower-ranked firm (i.e., non-V20) where I could possibly be a corporate generalist and get some exposure to commercial agreements / tech transactions work.
