I am looking for a good work life balance and I am OK with doing mostly creditor work. I'm looking for a firm with a collegial atmosphere that's conducive to longevity. Of these three which would you say is the best?

I can’t speak to all of these, but there’s not a chance I would want to work for Tom Lauria.

Given what you've stated there is no question it's Milbank. I have friends at Milbank Rx, and they did get worked over this summer but Milbank is generally a pretty humane place to work and is financially extremely healthy.

Thanks all. Is Kramer not a good place? The people I spoke to there seemed happy. They also look good financially. So from what I gather it's Milbank > Kramer > W&C?

My impression of Kramer is that they mostly do UCC-type reps. I haven't heard anything bad about them, but I wouldn't want to go there unless I was into official committee work.
Also, the reason people shit on White & Case is not that it's a weak group (it's not) or that the people in it are unhappy (they may or may not be, I don't know), it's because Tom Lauria is perhaps the biggest bomb thrower in RX right now and is almost universally hated. And given that White & Case RX is pretty much the Tom Lauria Show, that extends to everyone else at White & Case RX as well.
Some people might find that appealing.
All that aside, Milbank is unquestionably the best option here for the generic RX junior who doesn't have a specific niche interest. It is neck and neck with DPW and PW as a top creditor shop and does some debtor reps.

100% start at Milbank. If you hate it, you can go somewhere else
