Do any of these firms send you rejection emails or ghost you? Goodwin, Ropes, NRF, Akin Gump

I had a callback with Akin Gump and screeners with Goodwin, Ropes, and NRF but haven't heard back in a long time. Does anyone know if these firms send you rejection emails or ghost you? Do some firms do things differently between screeners and callbacks?

I know people that have gotten rejection emails from Akin, Ropes, and NRF

Yea that probably was for the best. Firms like NRF, Dentons, DLA, etc (i.e. the McFirms) gives me the creeps for some reason...

Akin is going to make me an OCI strike out this week I can just feel it.
NRF rejected me months after CB. Very weird folks.

I'm sure it's office dependent, but Akin paid to fly me out for a callback. Post-call back they told me they would make a decisions in a couple weeks, but it was taking longer than usual. I never heard from them again.

I'm assuming this is before the pandemic? Can I ask which office you interviewed for?

Do we have a feel for offer timelines at Akin? I have seen two acceptance announcements in the past week, from a non-T14 student in the DC area and an HLS student. Not sure when the offers were given, but presumably in the preceding two weeks.

Did you ever figure out the akin timeline?
