Latham 2L/1L NYC SA

Just wanted to start this thread for any and all Latham & Watkins NYC SA's to chat, ask questions and introduce themselves! If you're comfortable sharing, I'd love for us to get a chance to know a little more about each other, due to the fact that our SA's will be online. Hopefully, if its Covid safe, some of us will be able to meet up in NYC.

Law School Location: Washington DC
When you accepted: About 2-3 Weeks Ago
Why you accepted: I really appreciated the friendly and collegial vibe my interviewers gave off. Nobody came across as stuck up or snobby. Additionally, Latham has a wide variety of really strong practice groups across different areas, so, in conjunction with their rotation program, I was really excited to get a chance to get top of the line experience in a bunch of different areas.
Practice Group Interest: I'm Interested in Private Finance/M&A as a whole (EC/VC, Private Equity, Investment/Hedge Funds), Data Privacy and Security and Tech M&A.
Fun Fact: I've made it onto BleacherReport before haha
Are you planning to move to NYC for the summer: I definitely am! I've never lived in NYC before, so I want to get a taste of what it's like (even if CoVid has kind of ruined things).
