Does anyone know what the salary scale looks like for Associates and then the Partners (starting with new Junior income partners) at Lewis Brisbois? Think more specialty departments like L&E, but general liability is good too if anyone has insight.

The Lewis Brisbois office in my sizeable-but-not-top market has 35-55 attorneys and starts at around $80k. Not sure what the pay scale looks like beyond that, though. Would be interested if anyone else has insight, I'm likely to get a postgrad offer and would like the info.

LBBS is known for below market salaries, bonuses and raises.

Pay is bad at Lewis Brisbois, even compared to other firms that do a lot of ID. In secondary markets, I would bet junior partner base salary is below 200.

Junior non equity partner are approx at 140-150K. Well below market.
OP--If you have the luxury, keep looking. LBBS is a joke.

If you do LBBS big law in Labor and Employment you can achieve big law in one to two years. I would advise you avoid that firm but if the options are meager I would do LBBs and bounce after 2 years.

Are there firms in the San Francisco Bay Area that aren't Big Law, but pay well and provide a good work life balance for L&E folks?

Idk but with l and e you can go in house after 4 or 8 years and get good pay and balance. L AND E is very portable.
