I actually liked the white case one, I just think it looks international for some reason and really fits their vibeAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 9:21 pmI love the Kramer Levin and Alston & Bird websites.
Cravath finally updating their website was a great idea.
White & Case's website is a bit gauche since they're obviously trying too hard.
Kasowitz would be gauche, too, if it didn't seem like they were going for a DUI defense firm vibe on purpose.

Shearman's bios are arguably the worst. That was something I never liked when I was there. The backgound and the photos don't mesh well, and the positioning of the photos at the bottom is ugly too.

Honestly, I would prefer a no-frills website that's easy to navigate over a visually impressive one that's convoluted to navigate and all the animations and effects slow things down. Paul Weiss's website goes into that former category for me. But there are prestigious firms with websites that are neither pretty nor easy to navigate, which just baffle me...

Opinions on the new DPW website?
Is the new “market” position that stock photography is passé?

It's very good, on the short list for best functionality based on my short perusal. The design is perfectly fine; it's very spare, which is probably ideal. It's not very original, which again is probably for the best.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 2:20 pmOpinions on the new DPW website?

The layout of profile pages is a bit busy.
The biggest offense is definitely the color scheme. The intensely saturated background + B&W pictures makes everyone look like they have blue-tinted skin. And it's overall just fatiguing on the eyes. They should probably desaturate it a bit, and possibly switch to color profile pictures.
It's a vast improvement, though, and I'm mostly nitpicking.

Bumping this out of curiosity on a related point:Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 2:36 pmRegarding all the comments nominating Latham, their letters might as well start on the second page. Their letterhead lists their offices vertically.
(Anon because I'm probably the most vocal person annoyed by this, and it will instantly out me to many people.)
Does Paul Comma Weiss still list the entire partnership on the letterhead for formal comms? I remember thinking that was one of the goofiest, most archaic things I've ever seen.

Cravath and Williams & Connolly still do, which makes me think it wouldn’t be all that strange for PW to do so as well.
