NYU tax executive LL.M.

Full-time attorney here with family responsibilities too, considering the NYU executive program, but I want to make sure I know what I'm getting myself into.

I wouldn't need to be ranked number 1 or "Order of the Coif" or law review. I would just need to get in and get out.

Aside from class attendance, how much time should I expect to put into each class per week? If I recall correctly, in 3L, if you'd show up, you'd pass, but barely pass. Can the LL.M. be like this too?

Thanks in advance.

Man, I don’t know about the executive LLM, but the regular LLM required a lot of time outside of class. Gonna take some heat for this, but the difference is that the concepts are hard in tax LLM whereas in law school the general concepts were not hard, just the nuances. Tax law is no joke, particularly switching from C Corp taxation one class to international the next, then partnership next

I don't doubt that the full-time LL.M. is hard as f***, but I just can't see how full-time attorneys can realistically devote a bunch of time to the executive program.
Maybe I'm just dense and actually need to sleep, eat, and use the bathroom everyday.
