Top Law Schools

Anonymous for obvious reasons. Anyone have any insight into Freshfields' new Silicon Valley office? I am considering applying for a capital markets/corporate lateral position. I know they launched the office last year with some major hires from DPW, Latham, Sidley and WSGR. Do people think they are going to be making a significant splash in the market? Particularly after they poached some major M&A partners from Cleary in NY? I don't think these hires have had time to move the firm up in any rankings so far.
