For NY general commercial litigation, securities litigation, employment lit. Liked culture at both firms. Looking to maximize exit ops!

I don’t think either are particularly strong at lit, but I’d probably go Weil

Neither firm focuses on litigation like, say, Gibson Dunn. I'd choose based on culture/fit.

It seems like Weil has the stronger practice groups, according to Chambers. Any insight on this?

I would still go to Weil, still a tier above Milbank

Claiming that there are general "tiers" within the top law firms is silly. But for the sake of argument, the main factor (at least among NY corporate shops) would be how profitable the firms are on a per-lawyer and per-partner basis. Weil and Milbank are almost exactly the same. Weil is about 50% larger, though.
