Deciding between the two; interested in international, cross-border transactions and maybe dispute resolution. Also interested in practicing internationally, especially in the APAC. Having early responsibility would be nice too.
EDIT: thanks for the votes and the comments! I decided to go with Linklaters.

Go with Linklaters if you are really committed to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional work. If you're merely interested, I think White & Case may be the safer investment.

What's the thinking behind this? W&C has more offices in more countries and more than half of the firm's matters are cross-border. I don't know a lot about Linklaters though so just curious.

I am deciding between links and another firm. I do think links would expose you to more cross border matters. Almost all of their matters would have some cross border component. And if want to wind up in APAC, links has a much bigger presence there. If you want to remain in NYC and just try out international work, W&C would be better.

+1
I would also add that the key is multijurisdictional. For example, where a Chinese corporation is making an investment in Latin America and financing is done through the US. If you are interested in this kind of work, Linklaters. But like the above poster said, if you are interested in primarily NYC deals where international elements are involved, White & Case.

What's the other firm you are considering?
