A good friend of mine is struggling with deciding between these firms for a summer associate position. Any insight or advice on the matter would be incredibly helpful and appreciated!

Surely, your friend must have been leaning one way when bidding/interviewing/etc as these are very different firms that do mostly different things in SV...
