I know S&C offers a summer program to 3Ls prior to their clerkship, but does anyone know any other firms that offer this to their summers? Am primarily interested in knowing if DC firms like Covington, WilmerHale, and Gibson offer this type of program, along with some litigation boutiques.

MTO has one, not sure if it goes out of their DC office though.

Pretty sure I've seen a Kellogg Hansen one before. I believe the bankruptcy scholar Anthony Casey did one at Bartlit Beck, but that would've been quite a while ago.

Know of any programs targeted for students that might not quite be on that level?

It’s usually called a touchback, and most dc firms seem to offer them to former SAs who are going to clerk. Usually 2-3 weeks

I think this topic is about full summer programs, eight weeks or so. (Also, I summered at a big DC firm, and so did a bunch of my clerking friends, and I've never heard anything about touchbacks in this context, I believe that's usually a term used for spending a couple of weeks 2L summer with your 1L firm.)

Covington at least used to, I know John Cronan on SDNY did one there
