How long after a CB of radio silence equates to a rejection?

It's been a little over 3 weeks for a firm I am waiting on. I don't really want to contact them because I'm not sure if it would do anything, and I don't have other offers yet to alert them to.
Is it a soft rejection? Am I sloppy seconds? Is it just COVID-19 issues?

I interviewed with a firm in November right before Thanksgiving and didn't hear back until Jan. 4. I got an offer. I sent an email during finals that I was still interested and would send them an updated transcript when I received. Once I sent it, they finally answered. Not sure what school you go to but if you haven't received your fall grades, they may be waiting on your transcript. Even if they have an updated transcript, I do not think it would hurt to send an email reaffirming your interest in the position and say that you are happy to provide any other information in support of your candidacy.

100% agree. Send an email to reaffirm your interest ASAP.

Not OP, did you send an email to the recruiting contact or the interviewer? Thanks.

Three weeks isn't a very long time. I agree that sending an e-mail to reaffirm your interest is fine, but unless they told you they would DEFINITELY make a decision before three weeks is up, you can't really read anything into it.

Which firm is this? I’ve been ghosted by Latham since December and since then sent two follow up emails, for which I’ve received no update. I’m assuming it’s a rejection, although I haven’t received any rejection/offer update

sent email to recruiter that set up the interviews. I had emailed her after the interviews thanking her, she replied after so I used that chain to follow up.
