Any movement from Sidley's Texas offices?

Latham NY ding and King & Spalding NY ding. How's everyone doing with Texas offices?

only bid VE in Texas, had my callback today. We'll see. Any luck in the New York market? It has been pretty cold for me.

No luck here but at least I've heard back from the vast majority of NY and DC. I find it strange that most of the TX firms I applied to have not communicated anything yet OCI was over a week ago

I heard back from NRF Houston and did CB last week. I guess the Texas firm are moving, and the silence are rejections...

Yeah I wouldn't extrapolate activity here to actual Texas firm activity. There have been many offers extended in the past 2 weeks but simply not posted on these forums.

At a different school, T-14, but yes we've had multiple 2L offers reported from V&E in our Texas student org.

V&E also was active pre-OCI, I know people at a couple T-14s who got pre-OCI offers there so they probably don’t have as many positions to fill.

I'm not at UT but am looking to work in TX. It has definitely been a much slower process that other markets (mainly NY). I had a Dallas CB last week and was told they would be making decisions towards the end of this week and am anxiously waiting to hear back, getting increasingly nervous

Best of luck to you. Process has been slow for UT students as well, at least for 2L OCI. 1L Summer Associate positions seem to be filling at a faster pace.
