Received pay today and its the same as last year. Shouldn't one receive the new class salary on Jan 15?

each firm does it a little differently. did they not circulate a memo on the new pay scale and the timing? my firm trues you up on the first pay check in feb.

My firm continued paying the previous year's salary until mid-February, then gave us a true-up payment in February, and paychecks after that were at the new year's salary.

The first firm I worked at would give associate comp memos at the end of January and then do a true-up payment on the next payroll that would go back to January 1. My current firm does reviews before January 15 so they can include the new salary in the first payroll. So it really depends, but presumably if it applies to the new calendar year, you'll get a true-up payment.
